As if rendered useless by powerful magic, Muqtadh's body folded and he collapsed to his knees. Before him was a sight like none other he had ever seen... Like none other ANYONE had every seen! By the Gods... What is this place??!!!

"These mountain! These cliffs! Is this all some demonic trick played on poor Muqtadh in the moment of his greatest doubt?" No, he decided. This was a sacred place. The creators themselves surely had hidden this place far away from the prying eyes of mortals. And still, something continued to beckon him onward into the mysterious landscape... Something in the valley far below...

Muqtadh stepped from his mount and carefully descended the first shallow steppe to a lower section of the plateau.

He raced up the slope and stood arms-length from the walls of the sheer cliff. The stone surface was smooth and featurless.
